He was born on 30.03.1960 in Samsun. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1984.

In the same year, he worked for 6 months on General Surgery at Marienne Hospital in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Between 1985 and 1988, he did his compulsory service in Antalya - Akseki - Ibradı. Between 1988-1992, he served in Antalya Kale (Demre) district. During this period, he completed his military service in Ağrı - Doğubayazıt district.

In 1992, he started his medical residency in Haseki Hospital K.B.B. clinic. During his training, he was particularly interested in snoring and sleep apnea, chronic sinusitis and endoscopic sinus surgery, functional and aesthetic nasal surgery, pediatric ENT. During this period, he attended many congresses, courses, and seminars. As an ENT specialist, he received training on Laser Surgery, Snoring and Sleep Apnea Surgery, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Aesthetic Nose Surgery in Germany.

In 1997, he founded ENT- ERENKÖY Ear, Nose & Throat Center with his colleagues.

In 2004, he founded Can-MED ENT Center.

He attended nearly 60 congresses, meetings, and courses in Turkey and abroad during and after his residency. He attended the courses of autors such as Prof. Dr. Wolfrang Gubish on aesthetic nose surgery, Dr. Gilbert Aiach. He participated in aesthetic facial surgery applications with Dr. Botti and Dr. Koch in Vienna, Austria.

He participated in as an observer in hospital and university clinics in Germany - Regensburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne. He attended masterclass meetings in Italy, Milano on aesthetic nose. He is currently the director of Can Med Ear Nose Throat Center. His hobbies include painting and sports (tennis, walking).
